Senior LEED Consultant    (Full Time)


Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced LEED Consultant to join our Dublin-based sustainability consulting practice.  As a LEED and Sustainability Consultant, you will primarily be responsible for managing the LEED certification process on multiple projects. You will also be expected to contribute to the ongoing management, marketing pursuits and business development. You will have the opportunity to explore a broader range of sustainability consulting work as we expand our practice.

  • Fulfil the primary role of LEED Project Administrator / LEED Project Manager on multiple projects.

  • Collaborate with design and construction teams on LEED, WELL, BREEAM and possibly other types of certification programs.

  • Lead multidisciplinary team meetings, prepare meeting agendas and notes. Ensure absolutely that accurate records are kept.

  • Maintain excellent working relationships with clients, planners, architects, designers, engineers and contractors to ensure repeat business.

  • Projects will include LEED NC, CS, OM, CI, WELL and BREEAM.

  • Development of sustainable design, tenant and operations guidelines, policies and procedures.

  • Support the streamlining of our project delivery through the development of tools and templates which will remain the intellectual property of Meehan Green.

  • Participate in the development and delivery of external training programs.

  • Contribute to internal organizational excellence and strategic planning.

  • Explore ongoing business development opportunities to expand our service offerings.

Required Skills
  • Thorough knowledge of sustainability, building science, integrated design and LEED.

  • Proven presentation and communication skills to both teams and clients.

  • Experience with management of team, resources and time.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and information and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work in team environment and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and familiarity with Adobe CS.

  • Excellent working knowledge of LEED Online.

  • Familiarity with energy and environmental performance: Conceptual Energy Modelling, Daylight Analysis, Energy Audits, Renewable Energy and Rainwater Harvesting Systems and allied systems.

Required Experience
  • Degree Level Qualification in the Built Environment with proven performance in Sustainability.

  • 5+ years’ experience working at this level.

  • Active LEED AP with specialty. 

  • Primary LEED AP on at least three LEED, WELL or BREEAM Certified projects.
