With both LEED Platinum certification and an A3 building energy rating, 1GQ stands out as among the best in class office developments that Dublin has to offer. The project is a refurbishment of an existing office space along with a five storey extension to north east entrance comprising of a double height entrance lobby with office space on upper levels. There is also a four story extension to the south west entrance which gives an extended circulation core area to the building. 1GQ's sustainability features include optimised HVAC design which is complimented by solar PV and monitored by advanced energy metering. The project also reduces water use with low flow fixtures which are feed with onsite rainwater collection. Additional features include the sites prominent location which allows ease of public transport access and also connection to Dublin's best amenities. The project is bound by River Liffey on the North side.
